Activity Overview

This meeting is the official congress of the Journal of Clinical Pathways and serves as a forum for those involved in all stages of the clinical pathway development process to ask questions, learn how to measure outcomes, and explore ways to partner and expand pathway programs.

Intended Learners

This activity is designed for directors of oncology practice programs and cancer centers, oncologists, hematologists, commercial and government payers, pathway development executives, reimbursement specialists, specialty pharmacists, HEOR specialists, and other healthcare professionals interested in learning how to implement, integrate, and measure treatment pathways.

Learning Objectives

The Clinical Pathways Congress conference provides participants with the opportunity to:

  • Outline the opportunities and challenges associated with using clinical pathways as a foundation for value-based care
  • Examine the roles and responsibilities of payers, providers, and pathway developers in creating and implementing clinical pathways
  • Contribute to the effective implementation of clinical pathways to optimize quality of care, cost-efficiency, and health outcomes
  • Assess efficacy and safety of current and recently approved agents to incorporate into second-and third-line treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer
  • Describe the challenges of creating and implementing clinical pathways for HER2-positive breastcancer
  • Develop clinical pathways for HER2-positive breast cancer to optimize evidence-based and cost-effective second-and third-line treatments
  • Describe the clinical challenges and unmet needs associated with treatment selection and management of mUC  
  • Evaluate the safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness data associated with available first-, second, and subsequent-line therapies for mUC 
  • Tailor clinical pathways to incorporate evidence-based and patient-centered care strategies to address treatment selection and sequencing, treatment barriers, adherence, adverse events, and costs

This live, knowledge-based activity (Universal Activity Number: JA0006201-0000-23-056-L01-P) has been approved to award 15.25 contact hours (1.52 CEUs).

The certificate is not the official record of your participation in the activity. The official record of credit will be the information in the CPE Monitor system. Following ACPE Policy, HMP Education must transmit your claim to CPE Monitor within 60 days from the date you complete this CPE activity. HMP Education is not able to report your claimed credit after this 60-day period. Eligibility for pharmacy credit is contingent upon the successful completion of a post-test and/or evaluation for each activity or session attended.

NURSES

This continuing nursing education live activity awards 15.25 contact hours.

NURSE PRACTITIONERS

American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Program accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME. 

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS

HMP Education has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with the AAPA CME Criteria. This live activity is designated for 15.25 AAPA Category 1 credits. PAs should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
